Only a week after launching its Halloween-themed Blood Moon Wilds video slot, Maltese online casino games developer Yggdrasil Gaming Limited has now returned to announce the debut of its five-reel and 40-payline Age of Asgard innovation.
Headquartered in the northern Valletta suburb of Sliema, the firm used an official Thursday press release to detail that its newest video slot is a Nordic-themed game that comes complete with a double grid mechanism to serve as the battlefield for the classic conflict between the forces of good and evil.
A subsidiary of Swedish online casino operator Cherry AB, Yggdrasil Gaming Limited stated that Age of Asgard ‘takes players to the battle plains of the Norse gods’ while also featuring ‘a dynamic background feel’ of snow and fire alongside reels replete with shield-bound symbols including heroic goddesses and evil adversaries.
Yggdrasil Gaming Limited explained that Age of Asgard has high and wild symbols that can nudge to occupy an entire reel and remain sticky throughout subsequent re-spins. It moreover proclaimed that up to four smaller wilds can be created by the clash resulting from ‘bitter enemies’ meeting on opposing sides of the same reel.
Natalya Ovchinnikova from Yggdrasil Gaming Limited used the press release to declare that video slot aficionados lucky enough to simultaneously collect a trio of free spin icons will see the game’s two grids combine before being able to take advantage of up to ten additional spins. But, she pronounced that online casino players will be in for ‘rewards strong enough to conquer the worlds’ if they can amass six free spin symbols to be rewarded with access to the world-ending Ragnarok bonus game and its 20 high-paying free spins.
